The LAV-III Kodiak armored personnel carrier is a license produced version of Swiss MOWAG Piranha III. It entered service with the Canadian Army in 1999, which currently operates 651 of these armored personnel carriers. The Kodiak is fitted with a two-man turret, armed with the M242 Bushmaster 25mm chain gun and coaxial 7.62mm machine gun. One more 5.56mm machine gun is positioned on top of the roof. Kit consists of 478 parts on 12 sprues plus lower and upper hull and 9 rubber tires and photo-etched parts for engine cover grill, jerry can mounts, brackets, handles, etc. Markings for Canadian Army.
