Equipped with two high quality blade cutters, the unit can plane up to 4-3/8 inches wide with a 16,000 rpm for smooth material removal, and can deliver 32,000 cuts per minute for project workflow and efficiency.  The POWERTEC hand planer has a double-sided dust extraction port that allows for project flexibility, depending on which side (left or right) of your work area you need to keep clean – free of sawdust and debris.  The dust extraction adapter is included, and accommodates most popular dust hoses.  The adjustable depth knob offers a 16 positive step setting that gives you more control and a variety of depth options.  The two front facing chamfering grooves are V-shaped and are excellent options for optimal edging.  A tool park rest has been added for additional safety and protection, helping to prevent any unintentional blade-to-workpiece contact during down time.
