I would like to grow Mexican Oregano this year but am having trouble finding either plants or seeds. Does Kmart carry this herb?

  1. This is where common names for plants create issues as several plants can have the same common name. In some circles, mexican oregano is (Lippia graveolens); The Sunset Western Garden Book lists mexican oregano as (Poliomintha maderensis); some people refer to the spice, epazote, as mexican oregano; and some even refer to marjoram as mexican oregano. To answer your question, this is a specialized herb so it's a safe bet that you won't find it at your local K-Mart store. Online is your best source, and I did find Lippia graveolens available as a plant as this website:
