The map that is the standard by which horticulturists, garden writers, master gardeners and gardeners rely on to determine their zone if the USDA Map, which is based on the average annual minimum winter temperature, divided into 10-degree F zones. Here’s a link to the site to determine yours. Click on your state so you can fine tune the color for your area, which looks to be a 5b or 6a.
