Hirt's Gardens Perfecto Mundo Pink Carpet™ Reblooming Azalea - Rhododendron - 4" Pot

Perfect for creating drifts of color in the front of the border, this dwarf, ground covering azalea puts on a three-season show with it multi-hued pink flowers. Because of its compact size, we recommend growing it from a quick turn to a one or two gallon. Growers and retailers will appreciate how suitable this variety is for planting en masse. A note on hardiness: Perfecto Mundo Pink Carpet™azalea is hardy to USDA zone 6b, and is better suited to milder coastal areas of zone 6b than harsh Midwestern sites. If you wish to plant it in zone 6b, select a protected location and mulch well. Do not fertilize after mid-July in these areas. If you do wish to fertilize, do so in early spring, just as the new growth begins to emerge, and then again after the spring bloom is complete. Use a rose fertilizer.
