  1. They need to stop closing Kmarts. No other existing American retailer does this to people: Kmart's fans, customers. Not to mention people with a job get laid off when it's already hard to find jobs.

  3. Hi bconner. Which stores have you heard are closing? Where did you hear about these closings?

      Laurel, did a Google search under the news articles and was able to come up with the following locations recently announced to be closed.

      Puyallup, WA (liquidation sale begins on August 25)

      Howell, NJ (Currently having liquidation sale)

      Waveland Mississippi (Closing mid November)

      Gulfport Mississippi (Closing Mid November)

      Wolcott CT (Closing Mid November)

      Asheville NC (Oct 31st)

      I'm very upset to hear of more store closures. Here in northern CA, one store closed in Fairfield a couple months ago and now my favorite one, Rancho Cordova, is closing.
      Are all the Kmarts going away forever? Hopefully they'll remain an online store. I refuse to shop at Walmart and I like the clothes at Kmart.
