  1. Many of the plants that deer typically ignore are also avoided by rabbits. A few ground covers you might want to consider for a sunny area are scaevola, rockcress (Arabis), woolly yarrow (Achillea tomentosa), or Greek yarrow (A.ageratifolia). Two that do well in full sun to part shade are dwarf plumbago (Ceratostigma plumbaginoides) and carpet bugle (Ajuga spp.) Plants for part shade to full shade include epimedium, sweet woodruff (Galium odoratum), and pachysandra terminalis.
