For myself, I would make a variety of different flavored fudge as well as 2-3 different kinds of cookies. My mother-in-law and I had done this for 5 years straight and family and friends would always ask if we are giving again each year.
My other favorite gift I had loved giving were slippers. For some reason my family members would love this gift each year. After a while it seemed quite comical for we all had our new slippers on while cooking the family feast and the men and children had theirs on watching football.
Good times and Good memories!
Do you have a favorite gift that you like to give each year?

Hi, Wendy! I loving giving cookies for Christmas too. I stacked cookies in a mason jar and tied a cute little ribbon around each jar last year for all our neighbors and friends. It was a cute way to display the cookies and convenient for travel. I love a new pair of slippers too Wendy, great gift!
Love it Laurel! I will have to remember that for I have found some really pretty light green mason jars to use.
I am also thinking of using them for gifts this year. After moving to Oregon in 2003 I was gifting by adding different dry ingredients for meals in the way of using these jars. My sister and I have found this cute little gift shop that had these little recipe books with dry ingredients.
I had made cheesy potato soup, chicken noodle soup, and a great recipe for hot cocoa. Now the problem is trying to locate them for I had moved so many times and a lot of my recipes have disappeared. LOL
Love the idea of a gas card! Sure helps when you are commuting to school-work-home. As for chocolates, those always are a great gift! LOL In fact my son told me he was sending my favorite Christmas gift up next week, almond roca! Yummmm!
Now I remember, and yes, I’ve tried it and I love it too ! I currently have a variety of it that I got from a fundraiser and it’s kinda cheap and pretty hard, not really dissolving well in your mouth (a lack of butter, I think)… Toffee is a favorite of mine as well, Wendy !
