This Whynter SNO Arctica ARC-10D portable air conditioner features an auto-restart function. If power to the unit is interrupted, the portable air conditioner automatically restarts on the previous settings when power is restored.

    So far this works perfectly. I had someone put a dryer vent in the wall behind it and got an adapter so the exhaust vent fits on the dryer vent and so I don't have to vent it out the window.

    To be honest, I got this because of it's looks. Extremely compact and well design portable unit. The best part is the actual "coldness" of the air it vents. Very impressed with it.
