    Compact, economical and a good workout February 26, 2010

    In snowy Chicago, I couldn't wait to get going on my new years's fitness. For $39 at KMart, this is a great deal. Easy to unpack, simple setup (no instructions needed) just insert the computer and go! Being sadly out of shape, I was exhausted after just a few minutes, but I've been using it for a week now, and every day my endurance has increased. Best of all it is compact and portable so I can use it while watching TV and put it away when I have guests. Also, it is silent, so it doesn't interfere with TV or conversation in the room. Seems to be well-constructed and durable. One reviewer complained the steps only went two inches; this isn't true, it's more like six inches. I'm afraid she may not have it set up correctly. (Turn the wheel on the bottom to release pedals.) My sore muscles telling me I'm getting a good workout, my heart rate gets elevated, and best of all, can use it any time of day. Very convenient!

    Hardly Stepping November 14, 2008

    It was hard getting it out of the box. It did not have a manual and I can not register it because it does not have a model or serial number listed on the equipment. I also continue to have problems with the counter. It refuses to work and I can not find any replacement parts for it because I do not have a manual or model number. It works well when it is working. It is also very compact.

    I had no trouble getting it out of the box, or setting it up. It took me about 5 minutes. It didn't come with instructions, but to be honest it doesn't take much to figure out how to set up or use. I think for the money, it seems to give a fairly intense workout. I need more time with it, and will update review at a later time.

    It was not hard getting the equipment out of the box for me, but I was surprised that it didn't come with instructions on how to work the machinary. I had a hard time putting the counter on my stepper so I didn't put it on my machine at all. All and all it gets the job done for me until I find something better. I love the compactness of the stepper as well.

    My elliptical machine finally died on me this past weekend and I wanted to replace it with something smaller and less expensive. I found this item to be perfect. Unlike the other reviewers, I brought it home and it came out of the box with ease. While there is no manual, the setup is rather self explanatory. To be honest, I wasn't totally confident that this thing would give me a good workout. I was intending on trying it out first to determine if I was satisfied. My first workout on this stepper was only for 13 minutes because the workout was intense. I felt that I got a better workout in that 13 minutes than I had ever gotten in 30 minutes on my elliptical. I hope this thing is durable and lasts a long time because I really liked using it.
