I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if that were an option...
First off, if you don't want to think you bought a piece of junk as soon as you try to use it, unwind the cheap-***, POS, stiff string it came with and throw it in the trash where it belongs. (I could tell it was going to be a problem as soon as I saw it, but thought I'd "use it up rather than waste it, but after 15 minutes of frustration and repeatedly removing the spool to fish out line I finally tossed it) Once I did that I loved it. If you have done a lot of trimming/edging you will know what I mean. If you haven't, just take my word for it... I have two minor issues: The previous model was much easier to load with string...You literally just pushed it in a hole in the head till it was full and away you went. This model has the typical spool you have to wind and though I didn't have any problems with the line pinching itself and sticking when you are trying to feed line, I'm sure it will happen eventually, as it does with any of the "wind-on the spool" trimmers. Tip: Don't wind it too tightly, just barely snug and feed it on the spool as evenly as possible...that will help at lot when it comes to self feeding the line... The other issue is that you have to let it slow down to self-feed efficiently. The directions say you have to come to a complete stop and trigger it to feed line, but I found that if I sort of 'goosed' the trigger a few times a minute while simultaneously lightly tapping the head on the ground as you do with most trimmers, the centrifugal force created would feed it just fine and never had to remove the spool to "fish out" the end a single time once I tossed the line it came with. Really,,,if you buy one, buy some quality commercial grade line at the same time and fill it with that before you even pull the trigger a single time ;)

It broke within a couple months of limited use

This product broke within a couple of months of normal use and the manufacture would not honor the two year warranty.

Weed Eater Junk

Remember when the brand 'Weed Eater" meant quality? That's all in the past with this trimmer. Bulky and unstable, this is by far absolutely the worst lawn trimmer I've ever owned. The auto line feed is a joke and never functioned correctly. I had to manually feed or rethread the trimming line through the spool every 2-3 feet of work area. I returned back to the store the next day. Moral to this story, I should have read the reviews first.

Another piece of Kmart junk

The auto line feed did not work right out of the box. In 45 minutes of use I had to pull the cap off over a dozen times to manually pull line out as the "manual line feed" didn't work either.

It's a piece of junk that you will regret buying.

Weedeater

So far my weedeater has been one of this best that i have owned. It is very heavy duty and gets the job done quick and easy. The style of it helps so you do not have to bend down and break your back. I absolutely love mine and will recommend this to anyone.
