    Great phone for the Price April 02, 2011

    I purchased this phone before my husband started his yearly roadtrips for racing. It is a perfect phone for him, very easy to use, and came with every thing he needed. It holds a good charge, and the coverage area is phenomenal! With all the phones to choose from at Kmart, it was very easy to pick out the best choice for him as well as the perfect payment plan for him.

    It also came in very handy on his first roadtrip, as the fuel pump went out on his truck and he would of been stranded without it! As it was, we bought it, had it set up within hours and he was on the road and it was ready when he needed it. I could not have done any better for him! I really am impressed with this phone and all the bells, whistles and features!

    Love the phone but the plans are NOT cheap.... September 14, 2010

    The phone has lasted through all of my kids playing with it but the company just wasn't specific enough about their plans and the plan that I had to go with was way more expensive than other companies... It cost like $70 for the internet, plus a decent amount of minutes plus texting (costs extra)... I now am with a company that I get UNLIMITED EVERYTHING for $49 a month... Much cheaper... :)

    What I liked the best about this phone is that I am not stuck with a high monthly bill and I get great service. This phone is very easy to use and I just bought one for my son who has no problems. If you are tired of paying a high monthly bill then this phone is for you.

    This was my first mobile phone from Virgin Mobile. I don't like all the high tech stuff. This allowed me to make calls, check my email, and social networks. Didn't use much data and its so durable. I've dropped it many of times and it never broke. The camera was good and simple. Easy to navigate and use...Good for a first time phone and older people who don't want all this high tech stuff

    The Mantra is a nice, "no frills" cell phone for those who want a few basics in an easy-to-use package. It is more than adequate for voice and text messages: has a nice little camera; is internet accessible; and room for 500 contacts. Its only shortcoming (for those who use their cell phone as a phone number/address book) is that it has no place for notes or physical addresses. It does, however, give you a place for email, URL, and IM addresses. I also miss having a "stopwatch" feature. All in all, the Samsung Mantra is a fine value.
