Ultra Plus  Ultra Plus™ Powder Laundry Detergent, No Dye or Perfume, 125 Loads

I'd read so many great reviews about this product, so I finally ordered it from Sears (had to have it shipped, as it's not in stock at my local store.) Even before I opened the shipping box, I could smell a very strong unpleasant odor. I thought it was the packing peanuts, but it's the detergent. Hopefully I can get used to the smell, but beware if you are very sensitive to odors, you will be able to smell it in your clothes, even after drying.

I tried to use cold water and the powder didn't disolve at all it just clumped up and some remained stuck on my clothes.  it worked a little better in hot water. i won't buy this product again.

I've purchased this product for years and always been pleased with its quality and value. However, the last time I bought it, it had a horrible, strong odor of melted plastic. I thought the smell might go away, so I left the bag open for a few days but it didn't help. I tried using the detergent a couple times and it seemed to clean fine; however, the melted plastic smell was even stronger while the washer was running. I couldn't deal with it anymore and finally returned it to the store. Sears, if you have changed this product, please bring back the old formula. Previously, this detergent had a very faint baking soda smell before that was pleasant -- certainly much pleasanter than the smell of melted plastic.

my grand-daughter had reactions to several detergents. this was the one that works for her skin. WONDERFUL to have finally found a great senstive skin product !

I have used this detergent for over 6 years in my HE washer. I love that it is unscented and reasonably priced..

I have been using this product for years. From time to time I go out and buy different detergent that I have found on sale elsewhere but I always end up coming back to Sears and picking up a box. It might be the only thing I buy on that visit. It last quite a while. It is great!

Love that this HE Ultra Plus soap is free of both Dyes and Perfumes.  This soap works real well on all the stained cloths.  It is a 6 pound box and seems to last forever.  For the price paid it also a great value for the price paid.

This is great detergent for the price, but remember to allow the clothing to be fully soaked.  Also, from experience, do not put more than what is recommended on the box. 

My skin is sensitive, and I've been trying Several perfume Free HE laundry detergents for may front loader washer? Regular Tide Free worked Good, but I'd frequently get too much suds!

This detergent didn't get normal stains out of whites, even with Hot water & extra stain cycle/ 2 scoops of detergent! They were also dingy, even with bleach! It didn't do much better on colored, but less noticiable!

I was unable to return it, as I ordered it from a Sears catalog store!?- I finally called Sears CS, and they took it back after I referenced their "Satisfaction Guarantee"! Sears CS was good to me!

I finally found a big box store brand, that works very Good!

I find this High Efficiency Advanced Formula Ultra Plus Laundry detergent to be a wonderful product. I especially like the price value of the product - it is 1/2 the cost of the recommended national brand I was previously using. I find it cleans exceptionally well, does not fade clothing and I really appreciate the lack of perfumes and dyes.

I am very pleased that I "discovered" this product at Sears and will happily continue to recommend it to my friends.
