With the HD-A3, Toshiba delivers the excellent picture, sound, and interactivity features of HD DVD, and adds a new, sleek, compact chassis. The combination of stellar high-definition picture quality up to 1080i, near high-definition picture quality of upconverted DVDs output through HDMI, leading edge audio (including Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus) and web-enabled capability provides a new level of Home Theater Experience. The HD-A3 includes an abundance of audio/video connections plus an Ethernet connection, so that your HD DVD player can be updated to support future applications and services. Web-enabled capability opens the door to new entertainment experiences that can include access to exciting studio-provided enhanced features such as the option to access the latest trailers of upcoming releases, the opportunity to buy movie-related merchandise, download ringtones, vote in on-line polls, play interactive games, listen to music from the movie, or share a favorite clip with your friends!

    This is an incredibly good product for the money. Only 1080i but unless your sitting 10ft or closer on a 60" TV you can't tell the difference between 720P and 1080P, so don't get suckered into spending the extra money if you don't have to. The only features are really cool as well. The difference between HD DVD and DVD is incredible. Doesn't play Blu-ray discs but the picture is the same between the two and if you like the titles available on HD DVD, what does it matter?

    The Toshiba HD DVD Player - Web Enabled Kmart item# 018W875928110001 Mfr. model# HD-A3 is the "best-bang for the buck!!!"No kidding if you have waited to go HD-DVD this is where I truly feel is the best place to start! At only $199+(sometime you can find it slightly lower), it is well worth the money! Try it your self! Enjoy! bearearz......11/23/07

    I have never seen such a clear picture as when watching a DVD on this high def player. You think your regular picture is great, but then you realize how much better it can be when you watch a high def DVD on this player. WE LOVE IT!!!
