Created in 1963 as a tribute to the famously perilous Carrera Panamericana auto race, the iconic Carrera collection is designed for professional drivers and sports car enthusiasts. It features a 41 mm brushed and polished stainless steel case with a fixed bezel, black azurage dial under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and partnered with updated rose gold-tone, luminescent hands and applied indices. The TAG Heuer shield below the 12 o'clock and day/date aperture's border at the 3 o'clock is also in rose gold-tone matched with silver-tone contrasts via the dial texts, day/date and chapter ring. Fitted with a re-designed stainless steel H-shaped bracelet and secured by a folding clasp with double push-button release. This watch has a screw down exhibition caseback which showcase the Calibre 5, a Swiss automatic movement which has a 38-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet.
