    Sylvania LCD TV/DVD Combo February 10, 2012

    I am very pleased with this TV. I don't normally go out and buy something like this with out my husband ok-ing it, but we are both happy with the purchase. I needed a TV for my kitchen and it is perfect. I've never had any problems with it and the picture is very, very good. I would definitely buy another and recommend it to others.

    Speakers are useless December 21, 2010

    The picture quality is OK but the speakers are awful no matter how I adjust the quality. It's like listening to a cheap transistor radio or someone speaking through a paper cup. I love the DVD combo and the pictures is pretty good. But the speakers bring my rating down a lot. I want to give this a 4 or 5 star but the terrible speaker quality brings this down to a 2 or 3. I know I can buy speakers to hook up to it but for $200 you'd think they would have tried harder to give us better speakers. This was a gift a friend bought for me and I might return it. Even with the very low speaker quality I still may have purchased this at $150 but at $200 it's not worth the price. What's a picture without good sound. Like I said it sounds like an old outdated AM transistor radio or like someone is speaking through a paper cup with the bottom cut out. Great picture but very Disappointing sound quality. If anything peoples voices sound a bit harsh even with the volume turned down. I'd recommend this TV to someone only if the price was more realistic... let's say $150 and not $200.

    I purchased it about a yr ago and have been very pleased with its overall performance. I would recommend this particular tv to my friends and family. Picture quality is very good. There is a bit of a delay changing channels but I've seen that on all the newer TV's

    Hubby set it up no problem. Teen loves watching movies in her room now. Have had it for 3 months now, working fine.
