Not as bad as some said
Just decided to buy the table because it was cheap, knowing it was definitely not the best out there... and it isnt but for $90 it's good enough. One thing I didnt see in the comments that I would have loved to know before: each half of the table come in two parts, meaning you have a seam all along the middle of the table, makes for interesting rebounds. Over than that, putting it together was a bit tedious but manageable. As others said, the marking for screwing bits to the table dont always line up. What I did was ignoring them and losely putting the structure together, then triangulated everything so it was nice and square and screwed everything in place. it turned out pretty good, so overall, I am pleased with the purchase.

Worth the work

Got this for my eight year old. Love it! Able to fit in garage since it folds up which leaves plenty of room for parking. Took time to put together but worth it in the end.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

You Get What You Pay For

For less than $100, you're getting what you pay for. Serviceable (pardon the pun) but very basic and kind of flimsy. -- A bit wobbly; good enough for table tennis, but don't sit your drink down on this thing. -- Pain in the **** to put together; give yourself at least three hours. -- Misidentified pieces (but they were all there). -- Typos in the instructions, which aren't clear about several steps, like which set of bolt holes you're supposed to use for some steps. -- Extra unnecessary trim pieces that will waste your time to install (put the plastic corners on for safety, but don't waste your time with the long trim pieces or the two logo escutchens). -- Cheap wheels. -- Super cheap, barely useable net and net mounting hardware; plan on replacing it ASAP.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Get What You Pay For

I pretty much agree with most that rated this table a 1 or 2. I've been in production and manufacturing for 29 years, so I found a few things interesting that I'll share with prospective buyers. The box was in perfect condition. No damage from shipping or handling. Everything that was damaged in my carton happened at the factory. Three of the four panels had some surface imperfections.Dings, dents, scratches and something that looked like triangular pieces of thick paper that was under the top vernier when it was pressed. Apparently Sportspower has no quality checks before leaving the factory. Consider this table the Putt-Putt Golf version of a ping pong table. The four piece construction creates an uneven playing surface and it did take me and my wife 3 hours and a six pack to assemble. This table will not take much abuse before breaking. You'll have to check all of the screws for looseness very frequently. The net is horrible. We purchased a decent one the next day. I have never seen so many screws in a product like this. There are 136 small wood screws alone. Add another 3 lbs. of assorted nuts and bolts and you'll get a good picture. If you are not mechanically inclined or don't have basic wood working skills and a battery gun or drill bits, steer clear. You get what you pay for here. I can see this turning into four shelves in my garage sometime down the line.

Ping Pong table

Bought a sportspower 4 pc. table tennis set and am happy with the purchase. Rolls around nicely, folds up for storage, and playing against yourself is fun also.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
