Cute print, poor fit
I am giving two stars for the colorful prints, which I really liked. However, the fit on these is a real problem. I have noticed that the Sofia pants always seem to run small, but on these, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to the sizing as well. I bought a pair of Sofia bell-bottom jeans off the sale rack a while back and the 14 fits me perfectly. I was extremely pleased with the fit and quality even though I usually wear a 12L slim fit in most other pants. However, these pants seem to be the exact same size from mid-thigh down: too tight. The 14 would not even button and the 16 was so large at the top that I was afraid it would slide down if I bent over. Holding up the 14 and 16 by the waistbands and comparing size, the 16 seemed to be at least 3.5 to 4 inches bigger! I also compared several 14 and 16s, and this was consistent, so this wasn't a matter of a mis-marked size: the sizes are just off. Be sure to try them on before you buy!
