Directions: Care Instructions: Surface wash with soft cloth moistened with warm water. Allow to air dry. Do not immerse in water. Quick Assembly: 1. Remove wire ties and tie backers from package and dispose of properly. Identify BirdBoing! components: a. Bird with feather tail (refillable catnip pouch on side). b. Tree trunk spring post. c. Base. d. Two c-shaped base attachments. 2. Hold one of the two base attachment in the letter c position. 3. Take the domed portion of the base and feed it into the open area of the c. 4. While holding the c and the domed parts together with one hand, take the other base attachment and place around the domed portion, making a complete circle around the dome. Snap the top and bottom together to secure. 5. Place weighted base on flat surface. 6. Holding base with one hand, insert bottom of tree trunk spring post into center of base. (Note: The bottom of spring post is opposite the leaves). 7. Snap the bird onto the top of the bouncy tree trunk spring post, utilizing the patent-pending SmartyKat snap system. Activate Bird Sound: 1. Pull plastic tab on bird to activate sound module. 2. Toy will chirp when tapped. Playtime: 2. Squeeze bird gently to activate catnip scent. Let your cat investigate BirdBoing! on his own for a few minutes. 2. Lightly push the bird toy to start the spring action and chirping sound, while your cat watches. Stand back and let nature take its course. 3. To refresh catnip, locate refillable catnip pouch along side of bird. Open closure and discard catnip over a waste bin. Refill with catnip (sold separately).
