Shoppers can choose from either electric or gas-powered lawnmowers. In general, gas-powered mowers have more power than their electric counterparts; gas mowers are also slightly more expensive. Electric models are the most affordable types, but many people do not like being constrained by the cord length. For people with very large yards, it can be time-consuming to use either a reel mower or a traditional power mower. In this instance, the best choice is to turn to one of the many riding mowers on the market. Riding mowers are actually small tractor-like machines, completely self propelled. Riding mowers are significantly more expensive than any other type. They can, however, make short work of even the largest lawn area, making these options well worth the cost.
