    This is a great replacement oven for older kitchen cabinets. November 13, 2010

    Having an older kitchen, I needed a smaller oven to replace that old oven.  I shopped around and could not find a better price for the features.  Only slight modifications needed to install into old cabinet.  Easy DIY installation.  Flipped on the breaker and it works like a champ.

    In home delivery was way too expensive, so it was delivered to closest Sears store within a week.  

    Attractive stove with many features.  Now looking for matching appliances.  Finding the oven during a half price sale was a huge deal.

    The Kenmore 24" self-cleaning wall oven is not insulated. July 14, 2011

    I have used this oven three times. The first time was for Christmas cookies, which meant that it was on for about 4 hours at 350 degrees. My cooktop, the surface of which is 16 inches above the top of the inside of the wall oven, became hot enough to burn my fingers when I touched it. The two other times, the cook top heated up, but not to the point of burning. If you buy this oven, please avoid using the self-cleaning feature. It's likely to be dangerous. The outside of the door doesn't get hot; it's the body of the oven that gets hot inside the wall or the cabinet.

    The oven I replaced with this one was also 24" - but I could fit a cookie sheet in that one. This new one can barely fit a 9x13 baking dish. The shelfs are bent up in the back causing you to lose about 4 inches in depth. Totally unsatisfied with this unit - but it is already installed so I'm stuck with it.

    I love my new oven. It replaced a fifty year old oven that had certainly seen better days. It was so easy to install and running the oven is a breeze. And I definitely could not find a better price anywhere else.
