Rival  7 qt. Red Crock Pot w/Bonus Bag

is soooooooooooo pretty and it is so much MORE than I expected! inside comes out to wash it, the legs it sits on are small rubber for non skid and very solid. It's also bigger then I thought it would be and that's GREAT!! AND that BONUS BAG? I didn't even know it had that when I bought it and didn't know what it was for at first...but it is so neat...you can carry your crock anywhere with food in it with less possible spill all in the bag...it's so neat!!! I LOVE it...so much more than I expected!

Perfect size for small roasts and also for making soup and stew. And the best price I found locally or online!

We had a wonderful RIVAL slow cooker but my husband put the ceramic on the stovetop and it exploded (could not replace the stoneware interior). So I bought this one because of the large capacity and the fact that Rival evidently makes CrockPot. When I put a soup in it, it took forever to heat up and the exterior container was extremely hot. You could definitely burn yourself on it if you are not careful. We are going to keep it since it is hard to find a 7 quart capacity. Will give it another try. Nice to have the travel bag it comes with.

I bought it because it looked nice.  But everything I've cooked in it was overdone.  Why?  Because the LOW temperature is the same as HIGH.  Never could I imagine that a brand new crockpot would be defective -especially by the company that invented the crock pot.  Only buy this piece of junk if you want to torture your ex-wife or mother in law.

I absolutely LOVE my Rival 7qt. Crock Pot in Red. The Bonus Bag is very useful when I am traveling with a side dish and doubles as a cover when storing. My kitchen is decorated in red, white, and black so the color was a real selling point for me. Easy to clean.

We bought this spur-of-the-moment while Christmas shopping in the store in 2010 when we saw it on display and liked the size of it.  We had a smaller pot, but seldom use it.  We like this size, and use it 3 to 4 times a week.  Great for chile, pot roast, stew, chicken.  We cook enough to have left overs and re-heat them in the pot.  More convenient and saves grocery money.  The ceramic liner has held up well, feels heavy and solid.

The only negative, not significant, is the switch seems a little backward, from low to high to simmer... seems it should progress from simmer to low to high.  Just have to pay attention to where you leave the setting, because it may not be where it seems it should  be.

We like the large size, and the price made it easy to decide to go ahead and purchase it. 

This is not a top-of-the-line product, but is functional and dependable

I never recommend a product, because I give people credit for the ability to choose their purchases themselves... but I did notice that my mother recently bought the identical pot without my input,

At first we LOVED this slow cooker! We used it about 3 times a week. However after less than 1 year of use the ceramic insert/liner has develops cracks in it! On other websites this appears to be the problem most complained about.

I looked for a replacement part on Rival website, but they are out of stock on the replacement part. I belileve this slow cooker is no longer produced and/or no replacement part are avaliabel for it.

My old Rival lasted for more than 15 years! This one died in less than 1 year!

I am very disappointed in this product.

I bought this for my step-daughter because everytime she eats here she asks how I cooked it. I cook a lot in my crockpot and so I bought her a big one for her big family. She loves it.

I purchased this crock pot when my smaller Rival wasn't enough for a big gathering. Plus, you can fit a whole chicken in without stuffing it in. I absolutely love it! It''s beautiful, easy to clean, the warm feature prevents scorching, and the bonus carry bag is such a plus.
