Works wonders
the refills are expesive but way worth it. The smell is contained and it works wonders. Saves me from a million trips out to the dumpster a day.

Diaper Genie does reduce smell but can be difficult to use.
I received this as a gift at my baby shower and didn't use it much. It can be difficult to use and I found that its quicker to put it in a small bag and throw it away. It's also expensive to use because the bags are so expensive. Needless to say, I didn't get my use out of it and wouldn't reccomend it to a friend.

THE BEST!!!
Easy to use!!!!!!! Traps odors!!!!!! And its nice and sleek can fit in an corner of the room!!!!! I love to use and so does my family and friends....... very easy and simple to use my seven year old son sets it up for me as one of this "chores"!!! By far its a great product!!

Keeps the smell in!
The Diaper Genie II is a great product. It definitely keeps the smell in better than just throwing dirty diapers in the trash can. The only reason I gave this four stars is that it seems to fill up pretty quickly. It seems like we are always changing this thing. But I suppose that is to be expected. If you're looking for a way to keep the odor out of your house for that surprise visit from the grandparents...this is a great product.

I am a grandmother of 4 now and I wish this product would have been around when my children were babies! It is well worth the price to have one. So easy to use and it does keep the smell contained!

Keeps the smell in and the roon refreshed
I love the Playtex Diaper Genie II Disposal System, I had one of these for all 3 of my daughters. It really keeps the smell in. Yes it's a little smelly when u empty it, but what are you to expect. The refills are alittle pricey but I do think its worth it for the convience. I much rather put the diaper in a pail, then have to tie it in a bag everytime you change the baby.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

The Playtex diaper Genie is so efficient and timesaving!
I don;t find the bags to be terribly expensive, and you can always score a couple coupons on Playtex sites or on thier Facebook page. Prior to buying this product I had been using shopping bags and small trash cans. Then i baught a regular step can with a lid. This product has out preformed them all. On average I change my pail's bag every three days or so, and my baby is always home. The smell is now completly contained, even when I open the lid to stuff another one in there. Just make sure you have the diapers balled up, and so many more will fit. When it's time to change the bag i just flip the bottem part, use the childproof cutter and just like that, it's all done. I found a ten dollar off coupon on a website somewheres so I paid about fifteen dollars for mine, but even now I would pay thirty for one. There are no- name brand liners out there but they don't mask the smell quite as well as Playtex. I feel that this has been a great investment, the only thing i would have changed? Spring for the diaper Genie II ELITE if you can find one, then you just step on the pedal and the lid opens. Unfortunatly I could not find that model in my area. This little space saver timesaver has really increased our quality of life and one month later I am still smitten with it!
