    This is a great vacuum! November 08, 2007

    After having gone through 3 different vacuums in 3 years I was convinced that I was not going to find a solid, reliable model that would last for under $400. This Kenmore upright has changed my mind! It is lightweight, the attachments are very easy to access, it maneuvers smoothly and gets into tight areas. The dirt cup is easy to remove and the filter actually works! My daughter has very bad allergies and I have been able to see an improvement in her symptoms since we have started using the Kenmore. The power cord seems longer than the other vacuums I have owned so I am able to clean most of the house without running back and switching to another outlet. I would highly recommend this product!

    My bagless upright didn't last very long February 23, 2008

    A month after the warranty expired the vacuum got really loud. I took it in and the tech said it needed a new motor. According to the tech in my area he's seen many of these vacs come in because of this and other problems. I have hardwood floors in most of my house so the vacuum doesn't get used that often. The parts and labor was around 150.00. I had hoped that since it was only a month out of warranty that sears would step up and at least help on the price. No such luck. If you buy this or any other sears vac do your self a favor and buy the extended warrant.

    I love this vaccum. As someone with 2 kids, 2 dogs(one of which sheds considerably) and a husband who is a landscaper(dirt everywhere), this upright is lightweight and picks up everything. On carpet or hardwood, it never misses anything.
