Eureka  LightSpeed® Bagless Upright Vacuum

Couldn't answer sooner-but am delighted to tell you how much I like this. We had replaced our carpet about 20 years ago and got a 'good' sweeper. Thought it did a good job. This little work horse has surely pulled dirt up out of the basement ; ) One thing I love about it is that I'm able to see how much dirt it has lifted and have confidence that my house is cleaner. A hitch: that little filter can be a booger to clean but I've finally figured that out.

I have always had High end vacuum cleaners. Miele, Kirby etc.. I bought this vacuum and well. to my surprise it works alot better than any of my really expensive (high end) models..

It's lightweight. Propels itself. Bagless. Works on carpet and bare floors. Inexpensive. I like the yellow color. It is loud tho. Question below on this review, Are you affiliated w/this product? I didn't know how to answer - other than to say - I as a customer bought it.

no power wont pick up sand to loud

I bought this as a birthday gift for my daughter. She will receive it on Feb 3. Can hardly wait to see if she likes it. HOPE SO!

It took hubby less than 6 minutes to put together, the power was more than I expected and the vacuum took off quickly, so this may NOT be a good choice for an older person. I have several throw rugs as well as a low pile carpet and this vacuum worked well, good suction and the cleaning of canister could not have been any easier. The attachments also worked well for me on my stairs, enough reach in the hose, but this machine is lightweight enough for those who might want to hold it as they clean the stairs.

For a relatively cheap vacuum - this one works great. I only have an area rug so I needed an inexpensive vacuum that has good sucking power. I returned a dirt devil because it didn't have the gusto, but this one really came through and works great for my needs

I purchased this vacuum, and loved the suction power, and within 3 months the motor went out. I threw it away as I didn't fill out the reg. card and it would have cost more to fix than replace. Took a chance on another, same model, and thought maybe I just had bad luck on the first one. This one had poor suction, and the belts kept breaking ...mind you, I live in a one bedroom and am very clean. Ok, this time I filled out the reg card and took it to the auth. dealer to get fixed. What a mistake. It was a total piece of **** when I got it back. I'm in the market now for something different. Two of these in 6 months is too much ! I called Eureka and they weren't helpful at all....

This is easy to assemble but there is a flaw. When you go to turn it on the first time you see that it is hard to get your foot between the hose and the on switch to tap it with your foot. You have to really get in there with the foot to turn it on. I went to vacuum some dusty hardwood floors and there was not enough suction to get it all. The beater bar did not do too hot of a job getting it up. It seems to work well on rugs. I would probably not buy this again if I knew what I know now. I do love Eureka vacuums however this one did not make the grade.

Outstanding performance ln a small light weight package. Highly recomended.
