    Schwinn's Been My Bike of Choice!! September 01, 2008

    Thirty-eight years ago I bought a used Schwinn women's bike from a friend in college for $100 -- it served me well but it was finally time for a new one. I bought this Schwinn Mirada about a month ago and am so pleased!! I am 5' so needed to make sure it was right height; perfect for me and seat is also adjustable for a taller woman. It's a beautiful turquoise blue and handles well, excellent brakes, smooth shifting gears. I like the mountain bike tires as makes it more versatile. A winner!! Good price!! Hopefully it'll make it to my next 38 years!!

    Painful diappointment June 28, 2009

    After looking around for quite a while at bicycles, I decided to buy the Schwinn Mirada. I planned to go for rides with my daughter around the neighborhood. First time I took the bike out, I realized the mistake I had made buying it. The saddle is so uncomfortable, that I found myself standing up on the petals to avoid sitting down. The handle bars are not adjustable and they are too far out for a comfortable reach. My hands, arms and upper back became very sore after a short ride. I will have to buy a new saddle and handle bars just to make the ride bearable.

    Two weeks ago I purchased a Schwinn Mirada 26 Inch Woman's Bike at K-Mart, to ride on the trails with my family. I noticed that the seat was small and hard, so I purchased a  larger Schwinn comfort seat for $27.99 at K-mart. I switched bike seats and now I can ride in comfort. Great Bike ride!

    2nd bar a little to high

    I finally released my 29 year old racer style bike. My back is just to old for being hunched over. This bike is wonderful. I am 5'4" and it fits like a glove after adjusting the seat height. I can sit straight and still control my handlebars. Schwinn quality seems to be throughout this bike. Love it.
