Disney  Pixar Cars 10'' Bike

Bought this for my 2 year old and it was a total waste. The pedals are too far forward and hard to reach. The pictures on the sides are a thin piece of plastic held on by a plastic zip tie. Not what I expected from a Disney/Pixar item.

I agree with the other reviews. Bought for our sone when he was 2 - now over 3 years old and still can't reach the pedals even though he reaches them fine on a 12 inch bike. Terrible engineering! Don't waste your money - just get a 12 inch bike from the beginning.

This bike is obviously meant for very young kids. We gave one to our son on his 2nd birthday. He is now over 3 years old and still can't reach the pedals on this bike even though can reach the pedals on a 12 inch bike with no problem. The problem is that the pedals are attached to the front wheel instead of a chain and the seat is set back much too far for a small child to even come close to reaching the pedals. Even just looking at the picture, imagine a 2 or 3 year old sitting on the seat. Does it even look like they could reach the pedals? They'd have to be 4 feet tall! This was a complete waste of money and I can't believe they still make these. My son now has a new 12 inch bike that works great and I think I'll either give this away (if someone wants to try to modify it) or take it to a recycler because I am certainly not going to sell it to someone else.

I purchased this bike for my son for his third birthday. Bike was relatively easy to put together although the plastic side shields are a little "cheap". I bought this for my son as it pedaled like a tricycle but he sat upright like a bike. I like the front wheel pedals as it gives him easy control of the speed/braking. The bike never got away from him as long as his feet were on the pedals. When we first got it I had to attach pedal blocks for him to comfortably reach, but withing 6 months we removed them. This bike has held up very well even through a couple spills.

My 3 year old is approximately 3 feet tall and he barely can reach the pedals despite the fact that this bike is marketed as a "toddler bike". Also, the materials were pretty cheap (the Cars signs on either side are held on by plastic zip ties). I honestly don't think the quality of this product matches the price it cost. I do like that it is a Disney Cars Character bike but I could have easily put some Cars stickers on a regular bike and achieved a similar effect. Also, this item in theory should have taken less than an hour to put together for a person experienced in assembing bikes, (especially considering its small size) but it took my friend over an hour, partly because the washers & holes for holding the main wheels in place were spaced too far apart.

I decided to go with the 10 inch thinking my 2 year old would be able to reach the pedals a bit easier.  I am returning it and getting the 12".   The pedals were harder for him to reach on this bike than the 12".  The pedals are on the front tire rather than below the seat like on most bikes.
