Golden Wheel  Upland 26 Inch Men's Cruiser Bike

I ordered this bike after reading mostly good reviews from other customers. It arrived in a damaged box, an axle having poked through. Description gave the color as brown. It was red. Fenders were very flimsy. Worst of all, there was no manual, no directions how to put the thing together. I contacted the manufacturer on Kmart's recommendation. They told me to watch the online video on their website. It was all of 3 minutes long! Unbelievable. I'm not even sure I got the bike as described online. I sent it back. To Kmart's credit, they gave me a full refund.

I saw this baby and thought 'WOW, I GOTTA HAVE THIS."  Really nice bike, nice color.  The seat is a little hard, but aside from that the bike is a good fit for anyone looking for a cruiser and doesn't want to spend 100's just to cruise.  I can't ride the bikes that hunch you over anymore due to issues with my back, so it was time for a cruiser...This one ROCKS!!!!

I purchased this bike at the store put togethor. I took it home adjusted the seat and handle bars to my desired fit and everything is holding well. I closely compared this bike to the more expensive Schwinn Models in the store. The basic frame, rims, and handle bars are identical. The fork and all the smaller components are different. I'm a big guy Im around 300+ pounds and this bike handles me easy. Its fun to ride accelerates easy stops quickly and is pretty comfortable. The last time I bought a new bike was a $500 ollar 1997 G.T. Performer custom so naturally its not nearly as good of a bike but for only a $100 I'll live

I recently bought a men's Upland beach cruiser. The overall craftsmanship of the bike is pretty good. The welds look strong and the frame and paint are above average, better then the new Schwinn's in my opinion. However the running gears leave something to be desired My bike was a display model at the store and it was not put together very well. So when I got it home I tightened and adjusted everything. After riding it I noticed a grinding noise from the rear sprocket, so I loosened, aligned, oiled and then tried tightening it again but it won't peddle smoothly. Also the wheels are not mounted or balanced correctly as you can see a wobbling when they spin, this could be out of round rims or tires I'm not sure? Best advise if you buy an Upland is to take it to a bike shop after for a full tune! That's what I'm going to do. For $100.00 bike plus repair cost you'll have yourself a real gem.

Good Buy for the money, nice tires, fenders a little hard to assemble and adjust but worth it, no wet stripe up the back! I put a on bigger, better seat and high rise handle bars for comfort in riding, also rear saddlebag baskets to carry things to beach. I ride it for about 5 mile a day for exercise. Thanks for a Great Bike!!

The bike is only of fair quality. We ordered 3 for our beach house on Fire Island. One of the bikes came with a broken tube in the rear tire and the seats and handle bars are not easy to tighten down without specialized tools (octagonal keys) that are not included. While the bikes ride nicely once assembled, the chains tend to fall off when the pedals are stressed such as when riding up a steep incline, or when you stand up to pedal hard for acceleration. Also, the chain falls off when you are pedaling hard to get through sand. The overall quality of the parts and frame is good. Expect to have the bike tuned up at a shop for an extra $50 or so to make it last better and tighten the chain. Also, if you are near the shore or in salty air, you need to grease the chain, gears and pedal pegs right away to prevent rust. Best suited for adults who will be riding slowly on flat surfaces only with no hills.
