According to legend, a French goldsmith named Henri LeBeau became lost during the "gold rush days" of the middle 1870's in the Black Hills of South Dakota and fell asleep believing he was dying of thirst and starvation. During a dream, he saw a mountain stream with grapevines growing on its banks.
Upon awakening, he walked over a rise and found the stream and grapevines just as he had in his dream and, out of gratitude, dedicated his life and talents to creating jewelry in the shapes of grape clusters and leaves fashioned in pink, green and yellow gold. Today, a series of up to 40 different steps are necessary to capture the same dramatic detail in our traditional and contemporary Black Hills Gold designs.

Pros: Beautiful,Limited Edition,Good Quality,Nice Quality Stones,Low Set Stones That Don't Hit On Everything,Doesn't Snag On Clothes,Stones Shine Nicely Especially In The Sun,Comes In A Nice Keepsake Box & Comes With A Nice Card Telling You What Number Ring Out Of 500 You Got. Cons: Small,Lightweight,Polished Finish But Was Expecting Satin Finish Due To The Professional Picture On The Page Looks Satin,Leaves Are Small & Not Very Noticeable,The Pink & Green On The Leaves Are More Faint Than What I Had Expected Them To Be Due To The Professional Picture Shows Them Larger Brighter & Noticeable,Ring Does Not Come In Half Sizes. I was expecting a larger heavier ring for the price,but I also wasn't taking under consideration the cost of gold at this time. Even though the professional picture Is a bit deceiving & I listed a few cons,I am still happy with my purchase because the ring Is beautiful. I hope by posting some pictures,that you will be able to make a better decision if this is the right ring for you.
