Good snowblower, just a bit overpriced. December 08, 2010
This is a very nice snowblower. It's smaller than the normal 2-stage units but that makes it a lot easier to store in my garage. And let's be realistic, this is a 22" clearing path... the big ones are 24". How much difference do two inches really make? Anyhow I think it's a great unit, but the price here is too high. It should be around $550 or 600, not $700. If you're going to spend that much you might as well get a bigger unit.

Not worth the money December 16, 2009
Pros:
electric startCons:
Not powerful at all,to small of intake of snow, one forward speedThe snow opening in the front is to small and to little power for the price. This unit has only one speed, which is slow. This would be the bottom of the line when you are looking at a 2 stage snow blower. You might as well save $50-$100 and drop down to a top of the line single stage snow blower, which will have the same snow blowing ability as this unit. This unit power would be like same the top of line single stage blower however this 2 stage costs more and weighs a ton more. If you are looking for a 2 stage spend $100 more and get one of the larger units with multiple speeds, and along with larger opening for the front intake. The small open on this unit is no larger then a single stage unit, so if you have and drifting snow, or need to clean up the end of your driveway after a plow you will not be happy. I can not see anyone that would be happy with this unit. For the price you should either drop down to a single stage unit and save $50-$100, or spend $100 more and get the better one with more options and more power that is what I ended up switching too. Also the single stage craftsman top of the line will be $50 cheaper, much much lighter then this unit, it also has electric start, same size opening for snow intake, same power in the end.
