Just getting back from Iraq and Kuwait. Although I am a Vet I went over as a private contractor. Everyone, and I do mean everyone has some sort of 'desert boot' over there. I have never found any desert boot that cost less than maybe $75 and most if not all are well over $100 and often into the $200 range. Many desert boots don't come with a zipper to help with getting them off and on, and being over there you wear your boots every single day. These boots were an incredible find at $29, I got them on sale. My only wish is that I should have bought 3 or 4 pair as we go through our boots in a few months at best. I surely will be purchasing some more of these as they match up to any of the boots I've seen. Needless to say these boots are an excellent value. If you see anyone with these type of boots on they probably are military or contractors who were overseas and you can ask any of them how important their boots were. I wish they made them as a composite toe as well, that would be the ultimate boot without a doubt!

They are $25. boots
I've worn this configuration boot for several years now. This brand seems marginal but OK for half price. The are large in fit... Not length ... but you'll be able to wear a couple pair of hunting sox.
If your feet are acclimated to the Bates version .... they'll be unhappy in these.

I should have bought two pair
Great looks, great fit, really comfortable. Kinda has a sneaker feel compared to my other boots, and I actually like the side zipper. I get the same fit with the laces but so much quicker to put on and take off. "I can see the floors in the house staying cleaner longer in the future, which will make Mama happy"..lol

Hold up pretty well
I bought a pair to take to Aghanistan with me. And they held up pretty well for 3 months. Remember, I live in my boots, 16 hours a day, 7 days a week. So I am pretty impressed they lasted 3 months. I bought a second pair and had them shipped to me. I expect they will last the next 3 months of my tour. When I get hiome I'll be buying another pair, and suppose they will last much longer than 3 months. Overall worth the $45. Just get quality insoles, the rubber ones that come with the boots break down rather quickly.

Pefect for teenage son!
I am a single mother with a teenage son, so naturally i have a low buget. I bouhgt these boots for him to help with work around the house. He treats them rough but theyve lasted thru everything. Water, mud, carrying lumber to build the doghouse, and they're still near perfect. Nothing but dirt, and the best thing is theyre quiet inside the house, and we have wood floors. So yes, these are amazing for teens and older kids as well as adulst.
