Coleman mid high
I purchased the Coleman mid high in January of 2012. Till this date they are standing the pounding of cement. Il've walked with the Coleman shoes in the rain and the dryness is outstanding. My feet didn't get soaked like other kinds of shoes similar to the Coleman. In the past I've run into problems with other types of shoes like the Coleman. One problem was with the heal of the shoes. But I haven't had that kind of problem with the Coleman. It's a good deal to purchase the Coleman.

Don'T Purchase
Purchased a pair of these shoes for my son for camping. They started falling apart within a week.

Not very durable
I purchased these hiking boots about a week and a half ago from my local Kmart. I bought the size I always wear but they turned out to be a bit tight, I was able to wear them but my toe rubbed against the side of the boot, other than that they are comfortable. The heel area has already developed a hole in the inside part of the outer sole. These are good looking boots but even at this low price they are a bad buy when they don't even make it through two moderate to easy hikes.

They will not last
Although these boots were very comfortable to wear, the sole began separating after 3 weeks. They hadn't even been worn off pavement or in the wet before the sole began to fail. I didn't get the chance to wear them hiking, which is what I bought them for. I am very disappointed in this product, especially since it has the Coleman name attached to it. I wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing in-store. These boots have been returned.

THE BOOT HAS GOT A CLASSIC DESIGN, STYLE AND AFFORDABLE PRICE. BUT THE BOOT SOLE IS SUSCEPTIBLE OF SEPARATING AFTER ONLY WEARING THE BOOTS FOR A SHORT PEROID. IF THE MANUFACTURER SECURED THE BOOT SOLE FIRMLY TO LAST FOR THE ENTIRE LIFE TIME USE OF THE BOOT, THEN I CERTAIN THAT MORE CUSTOMERS WOULD BE COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT.
