BEST $30 BOOT
I just started a security guard job and needed a pair of "tactical" boots. Didn't have the money to buy the $100+ boots my new boss suggested, so I got these. Honestly I didn't expect much for $30 and expected to replace these when I got my first check. But the boots are surprisingly comfortable, look good, and seem to be tough enough to foot (pun intended) the bill. Now for $30 I don't expect them to last as long as more expensive boots, but at this price if I get 6 months out of them I'm happy.
This is the best "tactical" style boot you will find anywhere for $30, and I would definitely recommend them to a friend!

I was extremely disappointed with the boots that arrived. Even though they were the same style number, there was a difference in their appearance from what is shown on the website. Mine do not have the 4 hook style of lacing on the upper part of the boot, just eyelets, nor do they have the nylon mesh insert that runs just beneath the eyelet area.
So mine are just plain black lace up work boots, nothing ?swat? or ?tactical? looking about them. They aren?t particularly comfortable either as they are rather stiff and clunky. The only thing going for them is that they have a full length zipper on the inner side that makes getting on and off easier.
These were a real let down and I suspect that I will be returning these.

Not what I ordered, but good.
BUYER BE WARNED. These boots are not exactly what the picture shows. There are no "hooks" on the top half of the boot, the laces are all held in with eyelets, the little round holes. The side of the boot looks NOTHING like what it does in the picture, even though the product packaging says it is the SAME thing. It's NOT. The strips of leather on the side do not exist. The side is all canvas-mesh, much like the top-left portion of the boot in the picture. However, they are very comfortable and look good. I was disappointed they were not what the picture show, but the boots are comfortable, noise-free, and look very nice. Not to mention the reinforced toe. They are not steel-toe, but not as flexible as some boots.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

Side zipper doesn't go down far enough, not easy to put on.
Why not available online in Wide widths? The zipper doesn't go down far enough to make them easy to put on/off, hence must lace them a little loose or buy the lace in zipper on top of the side zipper. Started out very comfortable to wear, had them on all day the first day, feet did not overheat at all. Good traction. But next day when I got out of bed I noticed a small sore on my lower leg where the boot rubbed through my sock. Maybe I just need to "get used" to that, but there is a seam inside the boot at that location. Too early to tell if that seam in the boot will cause a constant sore if wear every day. Not sure yet if I'll keep them, need to wear a few more days to decide, but must wait a couple days for the sore to go away a bit before trying again.
