I love my kenmore 4 burner gas grill August 26, 2010

My husband put our grill together in less then 2 hours. The step by step instruction was easy to follow and understand. We had our cook out the same day be got it home. After cooking on it for the last few months  I would defiantly recommended it to any one thinking of getting a grill. The sturdy constriction of it means it should last a very long time.

We adore this product and find it highly easy to use.  The red hue adds a nice touch to our deck as it contributes color in a much needed area.  Its grilling capacity is excellent and the features make it easy to prepare a meal.  The side burner comes in quite handy as you can prepare a mini dish while continuing to work on the main entree.  Kenmore always has such high quality products and this grill is no exception.  We love it and it comes recommended. :)

After looking at several sites reviewing gas grills and reading customer reviews, I decided on this one.  I have not been dissapointed.

This grill gives a nice even heat that provides for a quick cooking time.  After having an older and cheaper grill that had gotten hot spots, I am finding I have to re-learn how to grill.  But I am really enjoying grilling again because food is coming out so much better.  My first time on this grill I was cooking around 14 hamburgers and 16 hot dogs.  I did the hamburgers on the main grill and did all of the hot dogs on the upper shelf.  Not that there wasn't room in the main area for the hot dogs, I was just trying it out to see if I could get the hot dogs and hamburgers done at the same time. And I did.  Nothing was burned, and all started out straight from the freezer.  very impressed.  And as a second part of the first grilling I used the upper shelf for grilling some cut up chicken boneless skinless chicken breasts.  Can't remember the last time I had juicy chicken off of a grill, it was outstanding.  And nothing stuck to grates in the grill, and I did not prep them in anyway.

I took the advice of some other reviewers and purchased the grill already assembled.  It fit nicely into the back of my SUV with the tail gate down and laid on it's back.  I just had to use some bungie cords to secure the lid and remove the removable parts from inside, but that was no big deal and I had brought bungie cords with me.  I was cooking that night.

The negatives of this grill.  the chrome/stanless steel looking pieces on the front of the side shelves, particularly the side with the hand hold for moving the grill around are not secured to the center part of the grill very well and is a little filmsy and could see that being easily dented or broken off.  This grill is fairly heavy to move around, especialy for those of us that are a little shorter in stature.  I'm 5'4 and the hand hold is at a little bit of an awkward place for me when moving the grill.  The hand hold itself, when you put your fingers thru and pick up, the under side can feel a little like it is "cutting" into your hand when moving, partially due to the weight of the grill, but mostly due to the underside not being rounded off for comfort.  I use the handhold and put the other hand on the backside of the shelf to move the grill.

I think the grill could actually be improved by putting 2 handholds with the under side being rounded off for comfort instead of just one.

I would highly recomend this grill to others and would buy it again in half a heart beat.  especailly since I was able to get it on sale for about $50. off the regular price, but even at full price would buy again.  I will be grilling a lot more with grill.

Excellant product for an excellant price! The assembly was easy but a little time consuming. It took about 2 hours, and at times, you needed 2 people. It cooks evenly and the temperature is easily controlled. Be careful of the tool drawer. The tools get very hot if you leave them in the drawer when you're cooking.
