Elgin Ladies Dress Watch November 09, 2007
I love this dressy yet affordable ladies watch!!! The slim design looks great on any wrist and the diamonds and gold add the flair of the expensive look!!! This watch would be a treasure for any lady Christmas morning or for that just a special gift!!!! Elgin is know for durability and dependability. This would become a ladies heirloom that would be treasured for years to come. I highly recommend this watch for all the ladies on your shopping list!

Broke Immediately September 23, 2011
I purchased this as a gift. The watch looks wonderful and it is a beauty. The mother of pearl dial brings out the beauty even more. The band is large, so I had to take it in to a jeweler to resize it. Then I found out about 4 months later that it had stopped working. I took it to the same jewelery to replace the battery thinking that was the issue. It was not the issue, and they could not make it work. It is covered with a 10 year warranty, however, now I have to locate the original receipt which I am having difficulty doing so. Once I locate the receipt I need to call the company (luckily) my friend kept the box and everything in it. My first thought was to take it back to KMart, however, since it has been resized, they cannot accept it. Now I need to locate the receipt contact the company and then mail it by insured mail (all at my expense) to them. They in turn will decide if it is a warranty issue or not. All in all, it is a beautiful watch, however, it has sat in the original box for several months as I attempt to locate the receipt so that I can attempt to get warranty coverage. I've never had a watch stop working so soon after purchasing it. I am told that the Elgin name is a fine name and that is has a good reputation, so far I cannot attest to that. The watch itself is beautiful and looks marvelous on the wrist, it has the look and feel of a much more expensive watch.
