    Cute seat...my daughter loves it! September 09, 2010

    Finally my youngest is ready for a big girl seat and she really loves this one.  I like that the back is adjustable, so it will grow with her as she gets taller.  She loves that it has a cup holder.  I wish it had cup holders on both sides since the side it is on happens to be close to the door, but it does not hit the door.  I have a Kia Rondo and the seat itself fits nicely.  The seat belt sits across her body correctly when the seat is adjusted to the right height. The other nice thing is that the back comes off for when she is even bigger.  The seat covers are easy to get on and off for cleaning.  The price was right.

    Cosco Pronto Flower Power Booster Seat is dangerous June 15, 2010

    I bought this booster because my daughter loved the pattern and the price was right.  I ended up returning it though because I felt it was too dangerous.  After installing it and belting my daughter in, I pulled the seat belt forward a bit to see it retract.  To my surprise it didn't retract at all but just stayed extended out from my child.  Obviouly this is a major flaw and safety concern.  The problem is that the slot where the belt goes is too narrow or small thus making it harder for the belt to retract..  I returned it easily  and purchased a new one with a bigger slot- no problem but a bit more money.

    When child is  in booster the belt does not retract everytime. While my child was in the booster i pulled the belt out to watch how easily the belt retracted back into place.  70% of the time it did not retract at all leaving my child with all the belt slack in front of her- major safety flaw.  Find one with bigger slots for the belt to go through and you wont have a problem.
