As a NICU nurse(33 yrs) and child passenger technician instructor (12 years) I have been waiting for someone to develope an infant seat that was resonably priced and actually fit many of the premies I send home from our NICU. This seat is just what I have been waiting for. Infant carseats are designed to lock into the base only at the one site. If you pull up on the back of the seat, it will move. This is part of the design of the seat. This seat,as with any other seat on the market has passed all the federally required crash testing. If the seat came off the base in a crash, it would not be on the maket!

I like this car seat, but I wish I would have got a different one for my baby. It's a cute design and has nice colors, and I like that it has a matching stroller. I just don't like the way it's designed for how you'd hold it. One hand on the handle and the other by where your baby's feet would be at the end. If that makes any sense.

I bought this about a year and a half ago for my first son and I love it. I bought it because I liked the color it was pretty neutral (maybe a little girly but I have to carry it and buy the accessories so I was looking for something I liked too!) There are a lot of complaints about the base...If you dont like the base than dont use it!! I never used it I used the slots to weave the seatbelt through....that is what they are there for!! I am now expecting my second boy and will be using this carseat again. Im planning on getting the sit and stand stroller that matches it very soon!!

I know that a lot of people are complaining that it doesnt lock in the back and that the baby will fly out of the car seat..the only way that would happen is if you didnt fasten the baby in and i would hope that doesnt happen. Ive had no problem out of it and my son really seemed to like it as well. it is fast and easy to snap in the base and to take it out. i would deffinetely recommend to a friend

This car seat first caught my eye by how cute it was and that it came with the head support pillow cushioning. Being m first child, I was sure the qualities to look for in a car seat but I really wish I could go back now!!!!! First of all I had the hardest time trying to get off of the base. Then I absolutely dislike how the hand carrier arm is,it barely goes that far! So when you carry it it leans forward, would almost tip the baby out if just carrying in the from one room to another unstrapped! Also my daughter is 7 weeks and I put her in her snow suit and she could barely fix because of the straps! She's only 10'10 right now and I moved it to the biggest it would go and struggled to srap it with her now suit on, or even anything more than a thin jacket! I am buying a new one in the next 2 weeks, and really recommend EVERYONE FIND A DIFFEREN'T one! Although it's cute, your baby deserves better! You can always buy covers for cuteness!

This car seat does not lock in the back when facing backwards which means it will not lock into a shopping cart and flips forward! The only lock (in front) gets stuck all the time and I have spent a good 15 minutes trying to get it out of the base. Because it does not lock in the back, the whole carseat can come up with the top hitting the back of the seat if you were in a car wreck. We use it in a trailblazer and when the handle is all the way down it doesn't touch the back of the front seat so it can pop up on a big bump! My other 3 infant carriers used with the other 3 kids were all the cheapest in price, but safe and this is not safe!

We bought this thinking it'd be a great car seat, cute and cheap. Totally wrong! The back part doesn't snap in. Seems like we'd get in a wreck and our child would fly right out with the car seat! Will never buy it again!

This car seat does not lock into the base. Not a safe car seat at all for your newborn baby. It's a waste of money, DO NOT BUY THIS CAR SEAT!

i bought this car seat because i liked the design of the material and the handle. when installed in the car the back of the seat lifts from the base. i understand seats are "tested" but i dont think the seat is safe. on the website it says the seat doesnt completely attach beacause the red pegs are for the stroller. so it makes me feel that they are more worried about your childs safety in a stroller than a car. personally i hear of more car accidents than "stroller accidents"

We purchased this car seat and the matching stroller and thought we were getting a great set for a good price. When we got home and were looking closely at how the car seat worked we realized that the car seat only latches into the base at the head end and not at the feet. We immediately went out to look at other car seats to see if they latched into the base at the head and feet and they ALL do even other safety 1st models. We were very uncomfortable with this and returned it the next day.
