    playtex daiper genie II elite Disposal System. Worth the Money! October 03, 2010

    The playtex daiper genie II elite disposal system is something I put on my baby registry and am so glad I did. My fiance tried to talk me out of it saying they dont work. Boy was he wrong! We live in an apartment so its small and the garbage is not taken out daily. I can tell you there is never any dirty diaper smell in here. This thing works! Worth the Money!

    Beware - refills are not the same March 23, 2012

    This is a GREAT diaper pail, nothing beats a foot pedal with a squirmy baby. HOWEVER, refills for this particular pail are no longer made, and the refills that are being sold DO NOT WORK the same way, they are far inferior to the original DGII Elite refills. It's very sad and nothing is being done about it at this point. So while I highly recommend this diaper pail, I cannot in good conscience suggest you buy it since the refills now - literally - stink.

    We have one of these for the nursery upstairs and the regular Diaper Genie II for downstairs. The elite option is so amazing! Unlike the regular Diaper Genie, this one has a foot pedal that opens the canister. It might not sound like a big deal, but you don't have to use a, let's face it, sometimes dirty hand to open the canister. It's the little things....spend a few extra bucks!

    Cost of resupplying liners.

    The Playtex Diaper Genie II Elite Disposal System is a good tool for the disposal of diapers. It is very good at maintaing the odors contained within the system. Very easy to assemble, use, maintain, and change the liner within the system. There is a single pedal at the lower portion of the bin used to open the lid for inserting the dirty diapers. This system will leave you without worrying about disposing of a diaper in a garbage can and leaving odors.

    This was definitely one of my favorite baby purchases. It is better than the original diaper genie because it has a foot pedal to open it. It effectively reduces diaper smells.
