my wife bought one 3 yrs.. ago the out side glass blew out

Said "No" to 'Would you recommend to a friend?' as there was no option for 'maybe.' Owned this range for several years; it's been reliable. Two things we do not like: (1) horizontal slots in door (just above handle) allow Dust and spilled liquids to get between multiple glass panels inside door [these slots are common across many Kenmore ranges; don't know how this compares w/other brands]; and (2) annoying, intermittent metallic 'buzz' or rattling noise emanates from inside while oven is coming up to temperature (noise could be associated with internal fan?). Spilled liquid (from pot that boiled over on front burner) made ugly looking streaks down glass inside the door. Grunge inside finally got to point where we removed / disassembled door (don't try this unless you're familiar - or broken glass may result ! - need several large sturdy tables on which to arrange all the pieces and set out glass; (6) internal glass surfaces need to be cleaned!! ... MUCH PATIENCE is required)

The convection bake is fantastic. The extra burner for keeping things warm is great. Love the size of the burners and the fact the front left has two size settings. My husband loves it and so do I. Would recommend it to anyone.

I wish I would have read the reviews on this range before purchasing, but you live and learn. Hopefully I can save someone else from purchasing this product, and they can learn from MY mistake. I don't even know where to start. As with almost everyone esle who reviewed this range, the first complaint I have is regarding the cook top. It is the most difficult to keep clean and scratches easily, even with taking care of it. I have only had it a couple of months and it looks like I had it for a couple of years!! Additionally, the oven vent is located just below the handle, which poses a safety hazard. If you are not aware of this, you could easily get burned. Just the other day I noticed a drip mark on the oven glass door and when I attempted to clean it, I realized that it is located BETWEEN the two glass doors. Tell me how I am supposed to get to this area to clean it! Grrr! There is no way! I am sorry to say that there is not one good thing that I could say about this product.

new convection oven

We've had it a year this month and we're quite happy with it. The oven bakes and roasts food to perfection. The stovetop takes slightly longer to get to temperature than our old coil range, but that's to be expected with an induction top. The only drawback is that the top is hard to clean and it ALWAYS needs cleaning. Every little spec show up.

We purchased this stove in September 2012, and it has not heated right since christmas. Tonight, after the sears repairman had been here to fix the oven, I tried to bake an angel food cake. 2 hours later, it still is not done baking. The oven doesn't hold it's heat, hasn't since xmas and still doesn't after the repairman has been here. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS OVEN TO ANYONE!!

I just got it toay-so far I like it.

This was a gift for our daughter in Columbus, Ohio, and she is so thrilled with it, and thinks it's just "beautiful."
