Kenmore  24'' Built-In Dishwasher - White  ENERGY STAR®

I was so pleasantly surprised at how quiet this dishwasher is. My old one was over ten years old, and in comparison this one is great!

Very quiet compared to the early 2000 model that come with the house.

We replaced our higher-end Kitchenaid dishwasher with this one. It's only a plastic basin and louder, but washes better! Good value for the price. I love having the controls hidden at the top because our other dishwasher was so sensitive (with controls on the outside) that it would turn on every time you brushed past it. This one looks pretty substantial for the price. It also matches our LG appliances pretty well, even though it's a Kenmore. There's no name on the outside and the features look similar so we can't tell it's by a different name.

Bought this dishwasher to replace a 16 year old Maytag(lower rack coating was coming off and starting to rust). This Kenmore was only slightly more expensive than the lower rack for the Maytag. We were installing new granite countertops, so this was the ideal time to replace the dishwasher. Install was relatively easy, except for the mounting brackets. I had no sides on the cabinets for the side brackets and screwing to the granite was not an option. Found a bracket to use with the top mount brackets. It was called E-Z Dishwasher Bracket(do a google search-will also need 2 #6x1/4" screws) and it saved me the trouble of fabricating side blocks for the side brackets to mount to. After getting the top bracket for anchoring the dishwasher, the install was quick. Also used the Sears installation kit(braded steel line and fitting) which made the water supply install easier. Used the dishwasher for the first time last night and it was much quieter than our old Maytag. Very happy.

This is the third Kenmore dishwasher we have purchased through Sears and we love the Kenmore line. The first dishwasher was for our town house; the second was for our single family home; and the third was for my husband's man cave. This dishwasher is quiet, has many functions, easy to use, and stylish.

We liked the look of this product and initially, it worked very well, doing a great job. However, before the initial warranty period was up, we began to have errors in operation and this required the appliance to be "re-booted" by switching off at the mains. Under warranty, Sears were very professional and the faulty part was replaced. Less than two months later, the same thing is happening again it appears. This is hardly acceptable and therefore, on the basis of our experience, would suggest trying another brand!

Like the other reviews very quiet only thing you really hear is the waster sloshing around. Compared to 10 year old whirlpool (very noisy) dishwasher cycle is long but dishes come out very clean. Also use jetdry no spots. Very pleased so far just hope it last as long as old one did.

Bought this dishwasher due to appearance, wanted to match the other new appliances I was buying. It is SO much better than the Frigidaire dishwasher it replaced. I no longer have to rinse and prewash the dishes. I just scrape the large food particles off, and put them in. They come out spotless. Only drawback is the long run time.
