I bought this item a week ago, I bought the store display from a Kmart that was going out of business, so I did not have to put it together. It is a nice piece of furniture, I am using it as a coffee table.

Bigger than you would think!
This is the second piece of the collection we put together and again we were pleased with the end result. It was easy to assemble except for the lid and that was my fault. The holes on the back do NOT line up and they are not supposed to as the brackets are not lined up either, I thought this was an error till I looked at them (after I installed the inside brackets first and shouldn't have). Once complete, the bench looks great and it is a lot deeper and wider than expected. It looks like a high end piece and was a bargain for only $79. As soon as we are used to having it in our room and remove the padding we added around the legs it will be even better. Till we stop running into it with our feet though it stays as it is!
I would recommend this product to a friend.
