Archos  101 Internet Tablet 8GB

So far i have had zero problems with the Archos 101 android tablet. i have only had it a couple of days and was a gift for my daughter's birthday. she really loves the tablet.i would highly recommend this android tablet to people. the screen size is great as well as the sound.

This tablet is an excellent tablet for the person on the go. To browse the web or just listen to music. The tablet is very loud for music and is very enjoyable watching movies. The price is just right also. I have bought 3 of these and the entire family loves them. Thanks

I got this for my boyfriend,  and I gave it to him as a very very early Christmas present. The apps that you have to choose from the market, aren't good. We had it for a month, and he just didn't like it. He wanted the kindle fire, so we had to return it. This tablet isn't one of the best of tablets, but it isn't one of the worst. I would get this for a teenager not a 20 year old man.

The tablet does have some good things about it, including the very wide screen which is good for watching movies or televison shows. But the flash player which is used to watch online videos didn't want to download while we had the tablet. So we couldn't view videos on the internet. Another good quality is the stand on the back, it makes it easier than purchasing a big stand like you must for the ipad.

The con's are that it wasn't smooth like I expected it to be. The market is just horrible.

Out of the box, the unit started up ok.  Got online and surfed ok.

However, could not get apps to download - kept giving us an error message that there was not enough disk space left - which when we checked, it said there was more than 7 GB left.

Not satisfied, will be returning.

I purchased this for my 13 yo daughter hoping it would satisfy her need for a laptop upgrade in a compact device.  She loves it.  We have had one problem with it.  We have not been able to download apps from the "suggested" app store it uses.  So, we found a way around it until they can get that quirk fixed.

She enjoys the camera, music, web surfing and email capabilities it has and loves that it is easier to carry around than her laptop.

I would consider this product for myself.

I have the Archos 101 Tablet, Most reviews are correct.  You do have to be patient with this tablet and you have to take your time and find apps that work, but other then that it is a really nice tablet. I only wish that would expand the internal memory.  I love my tablet.

I love my new tablet, wonderful addition to my laptop!! I have brought two tablets in 3 days, not by choice but the 1st one was (unknowing to me) was the floor model-I found this out quite by accident when I got it home & it was locked in demo mode, I took it to Best Buy, where in order to get it out of demo mode, they did a system restore--horror of horrors-I lost all my free apps, everything including the on screen manual but every bad story has a happy ending...

I took it back to another Kmart, exchanged it for a brand new packaging still intact Anchos & it works perfectly..I can't put it away..it's like having access to all fave newspapers, websites @ once. I love this thing!!! I will buy another one in a heartbeat!!! No overpriced Ipad for me!!!!

 Just bought 8GB Archos 101 Internet Tablet, and I do not really like the battery does not last of all, the camera quality is very low, not to mention the applications that will not let you access 

We bought the ?Archos 101 IT 8GB as a gift for our senior year high school student.  She has not put it down since! She uses it for all her research for class and keeps in touch with her friends while online.

It is very well made and seems to be very easy to use. The battery last about 6 hours between charges.  The touch screen is very helpful and a lot easier than having to type each word into a search line. As for the applications, they are endless.
