    My husband and I purchased the Nikon D3000 a couple of years ago for our honeymoon to Europe. This camera worked great for us. The settings are easy to use, our photos came out very clear, and I wouldn't consider the camera heavy. I think it's normal weight for this type of camera. My husband and I use this camera on a normal basis and haven't found anything wrong with it after 2 1/2 years of use!

    I upgraded to this camera to learn more about dslr cams and i have not been disappointed. it's a great starter camera for those making the move to dslr's. i don't have any complaints.
