Panasonic latest DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Communications) technology lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. It also assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices.
You can put handsets all over your house - in your kids' rooms or even in the garage - without all the messy wiring or complicated setup. With DECT 6.0 expandable phone systems, you don't need a phone jack for each additional handset - just one for the base unit. So start expanding and forget about all your wiring worries.
This phone system is equipped with an all-digital answering system for quick, easy retrieval of crystal-clear messages. Message operation has never been easier, with up to 16 minutes of recording time, plus such features as a pre-recorded outgoing message, remote operation, Tollsaver, and skip-and-repeat. And don't worry about losing your messages when the power goes out - they're stored in flash memory so they're unaffected by power failure or interruptions.
Having a handset speakerphone may not seem like such a big deal - until you have to call an automated phone system. By the time you press "2" and return the phone to your ear, you missed half the next option! And when they put you on hold for 10 minutes, do you really need to hold the phone? Not with a handset speakerphone. Just listen along and press a button or pick up when it's convenient. You'll think up other great uses, like letting Grandma and Grandpa listen to their new grandchild at the same time, painting your nails as you talk to your best friend, or just being able to set the phone down while you talk.
What happens when you're already on the phone and another call comes in on Call Waiting? Until now, you wouldn't know who was beeping in unless you answered it. With Call Waiting Caller ID, you get the best of both worlds. So now when you get a beep, you can see who's calling before you answer!

This is a Great Phone December 30, 2008
This phone is the greatest.......real easy to use and crystal clear. I love the features of being able to switch between the speaker and talking on the phone.......I would reccommend this phone to anyone, even the hearing impaired, you can turn it up real loud.

this product is not great the call quality sucks to be honest with you. i exspect the phones i use to be loud crisp and clear not sound like it has static on the other side hard to hear with that on the other end of the phone.
also you can hear others chatting from a couple houses a way that is not cool when you are on the phone with some one of importance and you hear some one talking about grama's cookie recipe that is part of why this phone is ******. this phone also has a voice that lets you know who calls and half the time it does not work the light blinks at ya and does not say anything. the cool feature is the lights on the phone that makes it eye popping other wise this phone sucks. the battery always needs to be recharged. the cordless phone is junk. i purchased this phone when the model had 5 hand sets and when mine broke i was foolish enough to go back and get this model.also the belt clip breaks. peeps if you are like me and like to have the phone near by so you don't have to get the phone have a bag near bye the belt clip is made of cheap plastic and it breaks. the phone also if it is dropped will not work it will not even dial so i would not buy this if you are a rough person who likes to man handle their things.
other wise i thought it was a ok phone just has some issues.....................

These phone are great. They keep a charge forever and having 2 handsets really workouts well. If i forget to chage one, I just use the other.They have all the bells & whistles an average family would need. Would definately reccomend.

Great phone for the money. Really like the features this phone has, like being able to listen to messages with the handset. It always seemed like the voices were muffled with other phones. With this panasonic phone voices are very clear and not muffled. You can hear the answering machine loud and clear also. If you are in another room you will be able to hear who is leaving a message or if you choose you can lower the volume. The handset has a volume control which is a great feature. I would recommend this phone.
