  • Dual Digital Cameras - With two cameras - one on the outside pointing away from the user and one on the inside pointing at the user - the Nintendo DSi offers an easy way to take and share your photos. Customize your photos with ten different interactive "lenses" for a personalized look. Also, photos taken using the DSi can be synced to the Nintendo Wii's Photo Channel.
  • DSi Shop & DSiWare - Using Nintendo Points, you can download DSiWare games and applications to the DSi's internal memory or to an SD card. From fun, classic games to practical applications like clocks and calculators, the DSi Shop is sure to have what you want.
  • DSi Sound - An interactive voice recorder and music player all in one, DSi Sound allows you to play with your music while you listen to it. Access different audio filters, control the pitch and speed of recorded voice or music files, or even change the tempo of a song. Plus, you can access your music in AAC format off any standard SD card.
  • Wireless Connectivity - Connect wirelessly to the Internet, share photos and play with others with the DSi Browser. (Router and broadband access required.)

(Note: The DSi system is not compatible with Game Boy Advance cartridges or any DS game that requires the GBA game slot.)
  • An Improvement In Every Way - Thinner and lighter than the Nintendo DS Lite, the DSi features a larger display (3.25 inches) than any other DS system. It also takes less time to charge the battery than the other DS systems, bringing the battery to a full charge in approximately 2.5 hours.

    I bought this for my son and he loves it and it is extremely easy to learn for a 5 yr old. The only recommendation is I would definitely get a protector for the DSi, other than that, I had no problems with it.

    This was given to my special needs child for Christmas This is wonderful I never thought I could find something to keep him so calm especially while driving in the car Thanks so much for the Kmart sales associate that helped pick this out for him

    camera,downloadable content,slim,sleek,slightly bigger screens
    Cons:
    can not play Game Boy Advance games,can't use the ds lite charger,camera is low quality

    This is a very nice video game system, it doesn't cost a lot of money and it works well. It has slightly bigger screens than the DS Lite model but its biggest con is that it cannot play Game Boy Advance games. This is especially a problem if you play the Pokemon games and wish to upload Pokemon from your Game Boy Advance cartridges. You can't do that with this system, but you can do that with the DS Lite and regular Nintendo DS.  It is a bit thinner than the DS Lite and the color is very nice if you are an adult, it does not look like a kids system because the black is solid and matte color. Also because the finish is matte it does not collect fingerprints like other Nintendo DS models.
