Pros:
HDMI output and S-video outputs,multiple useI've always liked the Memorex brands for good products and prices. Memorex has been around a while, so in my opinion, that gives them a greater chance at a stable product. But then, I tend to be a brand loyalist. But, I have to confess that I have also tried other brands of DVD players, and I find this one very good comparatively speaking and even better because of the price of this one compared to other brands. And, you can't beat the price on this DVD player! One really nice point for this DVD player is the ability to play DVDs that look as good as HD with the 1080p HDMI up conversion. We get a nice clear and vivid picture, which is just about as good, if not good as, what you get with Blu-Ray DVDs and Blu-Ray Players at much less cost, so that works for me. Blu-Ray DVDs are expensive! The multiple uses are also great too, since it can combo as a DVD player, CD player, ect. The slow motion and zoom functions are really fun to use too. We didn't have that on our last unit, so it was nice looking at something in slow motion and/or zoom to see something we missed by just watching the movie. Saves a few arguments that way! Grin. Some people do not like the size of the remote, but I don't mind the smaller remote, since a universal remote can be programmed to it, which is something we already do with our gadgets. All in all, in my opinion, this is a very good buy!

Pros:
Cheap,Display on unit,HDMI output and S-video outputsI really think this is a nice Dvd player for the money. It has a HDMI port & it does 1080p upconvert so it looks just as good as Blu-ray without having to pay the price. I recommend this dvd player!
