    I am pleased to shop at Kmart December 31, 2010

    This is a awsome product.  I really enjoyed it.  It was right on time for the holidays.  I need one bad and looked it up on line and followed through and purchased it in the store.  The sales man was so helpful and he payed attention to what I wanted and helped me find the best one for me.  I am pleased that I went to Kmart.  I will be shopping there again for more products and not just in the DVD section.  I did not see a lot of sales assistants, but i did manage to find help in the TV  department.  Keep up the good work.

    Memorex 2016 - JUNK JUNK JUNK JUNK March 17, 2011

    My Memorex 2016 remote died less than one year after my purchase and the best the Company support can say is sorry. No replacement remotes are available nor are even being made. They gave me a technical support phone number that delievers me to some FOX Products, who claims these parts will never be available and that Memorex knows this, but still forwards them to their 1-00-321-6993 number.

    Please do not buy!

    I bought this as a dvd player for a tv that we don't use very often. Even at that, it doesn't impress me. The door gets stuck quite often, so you have to struggle with it to eject a disk. I would have just thrown it all away after it jammed, but it had a Redbox dvd in it.

    player itself has basic features,,Remote does not work well

    If you're looking for a short term DVD player then this is perfect, it is cheap and efficient. If you want a long lasting DVD player then pay a bit more.

    I bought one of these for my dorm room thinking I would only need it temporarily and it was the cheapest DVD player I could find. After about a month it stopped reading DVDs but with Kmarts return policies it was no hassle to get it replaced free of charge. The second one has now lasted me over a year and plays all DVDs fine. It doesn't have any real fancy features but it plays anything you want to watch, I have netflix and it has read every DVD I've tried to watch. Also the remote doesn't have the best range but again for the price you pay it really isn't that bad.
