RCA  Twin Mobile DVD Players with 7'' LCD Screens

I bought this for my 11 year and 6 month old so one is facing the front of the car and the other is on the back headrest. I love that they play different dvd's however it would be great if I didn't have to have cords stretched from one side to the other. I didn't know that these didn't play without the car charger. I thought that you could charge them using the wall charger and they would play for at least 3 hours in the car before you had to plug in the car charger. very disappointing.

Two players for the price of one and they both operate on one power plug (leaving the second available for my cell phone)! My 6 years old twins can easily use these by remote to control their movies. Movies sometimes restart from the beginning if I restart the car after a stop. Sometimes they resume, the players do have a memory function but I'm not sure how to best use it. It also allows them to see the time stamp of where in the movie they are, but I do forget they are watching sometimes and cut the engine before announcing they should save or remember their spots to resume at. They do lean forward to change disks and to use the slide switch to control weather to watch the movie in their unit or the other player. One screen has a blue detail on the front and a blue buttoned remote and the other is green in the same places. This machine works great. Headphones were necessary as we mounted them behind the driver and front passengers heads'. I also replaced the headrest strap which has a Velcro closure I didn't like. My hair stuck to it occasionally so I swapped the straps out for a plastic adjustable clip version from the previous player we had which broke. The player on the right side seems to fall open sometime when the kids walk by to get in and out of the minivan door. So far not an issue but I'm hoping it can take the abuse of being open and falling open repeatedly.

We bought these for our 2 sons to keep entertained in the car or truck. Each one is its own individual player so they can watch two different movies, or you can connect RCA jacks (included) to them and watch the same movie on both screens, and you can plug them into your Cigarette lighter together or one at a time (both types of power plugs included and a wall plug in as well). Even afer both units got juice spilled on them THEY STILL WORK!! They are so Durable, they have a great picture and good sound, but most importantly, they are durable. We have gone through 4 other sets from different manufacturers that would just stop working for no reason. These have given us ZERO problems. Once my pair finally do quit working I will DEFINITELY buy another set. I have never been so pleased with a set of portable DVD players.

We are planning a very long road trip from PA to Disney World in September. We decided to look into a portable DVD player for the kids to add an extra little "something to do" in the car. As well as for other day trips we take. When I was searching around, everything seemed the same to me, so it was really only a matter of price at that point! Then I found these...We have two children so we definitely needed two screens. However, it was the added bonus that each one could watch their own movies at the same time OR watch the same one together. As if they each have their own! (If any of you have more than one child, I'm sure you can appreciate that!) This is almost like buying two for the price of one! The cheaper version of this is $120. So for only $30 more, it was like we got another one included! Then as I kept reading, I found more & more things that made this one stand out from the others. Believe it or not, this set includes jacks & headphones, the cheaper one does not. If the kids are watching a movie & my husband & I are listening to music or listening to the GPS, we would hear the DVD player in the background or the kids couldn't hear their movies. So obviously the headphones are an added bonus for the kids, especially when they're each watching a different movie. The features included for just $30 more are: able to watch 2 movies at once, headphone/jacks, Dolby Digital sound, Frame advance, slow motion, freeze frame & skip search. There is a downfall however... The same device that is $30 cheaper is also capable for use as a video game monitor & I don't believe this one can do that. So if you're children are gamers, the other one may be the better choice for you. However, if they're like our children, we have all of the handheld video game devices already, so adding it to the DVD player wasn't necessary for us. Definitely a great deal!! Almost as many features as a DVD player at home!

Make sure to buy the extended warrany because they will only work for about 3 months before you start getting a "no disc error".  Very dissapointed in the overall quality of this product.

Great price but used it twice for a total of 6 hours and then received a no disc error. Tried several things like cleaning the dvd, cleaning the lens. Finally returned it for a new one. Waiting to see how long this one will work.

This is an amazing product. No problems at all, lovely picture, and the fact that you can play 2 different movies is great for having children of different ages. To the one star reviewer who failed this product because they didn't read the description, your idiocy is no reason to blackball a wonderful product. These are called Mobile DVD Players, not portable. Return the product and buy what you were actually looking for.

The word portable would imply that they are self powering!  Chech again, I bought these to take on the airplane.  I figured my two small children would be occupied, guess again.  They have no battery and need to be plugged in to a power source at all times! 

Very Nice,  Either DVD player can play the DVD or set them to both play at once.  Very quick to attach to headrest with a single velcro strap.  Accessories included that would allow these to be used in seperate vehicles, seperate rooms, or even used to view items off from any device that can have audio video out cables attached.  Picture quality is great.
