Pros:
Comes with free online playAwesome machine, I am on my second machine though. If you are opting out of buying any type of warranty I would think twice. I bought a 2nd generation ps3 and after about 18 months the bluray drive was dead. I was out of ps warranty and they charge $150 to fix it. Kmart covers 2 years. KEEP YOUR RECIEPT AND BOX!

Pros:
It has everything needed,Comes with free online play,Good deal for $$The Sony PS3 is a great game console. The graphics on high def are outstanding for gaming and blu-ray movies. I have owned various consoles since the very old Ataris (yes, I still have one) and this is the best I have owned by far. The connectivity to the internet is a great bonus and the free network gaming is a nice feature. The up-coming 3D firmware upgrade to allow it to play movies in 3D just makes it an even better buy.
The only problem I have come across so far is lack of time to play with it more.
I highly recommend this gaming console.

Not backward CompatibleI just got mine in last week. Should have gotten the 250 gb one. I bought 8 of the $20 games and 5 required me to install them to the harddrive inorder to play them, well i'm down to 38Gb free, wish it could be like xbox360 and have to option to install and not be forced to. And i wish they would put in the settings a way to change the size of the words in the games I can't make out half of what the words say in the menus and stuff on a 42in TV.
