With so many characters, it becomes less and less necessary for the game to feature a single wunderkind that is a master of every type of operation. The use of several different characters, each of which a master of his or her particular field of medicine, allows people to branch out the gameplay to feature six different types of gameplay. These range from the fast-paced surgical action found in the Trauma Center series to more thoughtful challenges such as symptom diagnosis and forensic pathology. This allows people to cerate a variety of gameplay options while providing several different storylines that involve the various characters in the Trauma Team setting. Each of the six palyable characters will have an individual plotline that takes place concurrently among the other characters' story, but mastery of all the different skills is necessary in order to experience everything that the game has to offer. Luckily, you won't have to go it alone. In many of its play modes, Trauma Team retains the two-player cooperative gameplay that appeared in blood, meaning that players can invite a friend to assist in the challenges a career in medicine has to offer. The change in characterization and presentation is accompanied by dramatic shift in the game's presentation style. Trauma Team will feature a art design that incorporates elements of anime, manga, and western-style comic art to create a dynamic and engaging art style for all the cutscenes in the game, enhancing the level of immersion players will feel with regards to the characters and the overall narrative...
